- 12 oz thick cut bacon
- 5 Tb brown sugar
- 2 Tb + 1 tsp maple syrup
- Heavy pinch of coarse ground black pepper
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Line baking sheet with foil.
- Spray rack with cooking spray and place on baking sheet. Place bacon in single layer on oiled baking rack.
- In a small saucepan, heat brown sugar, maple, and black pepper until brown sugar dissolves.
- Working quickly, brush on bacon, flip bacon, and brush on other side.
- Bake about 35 minutes, until glazed and tasty! Poke a long wooden skewer in if you really want it to seem like the fair.
