- 1/3 C Basil Balsamic
- 1/8 C extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Sel de Cuisine
- 2 steaks (I prefer tenderloin but most cuts are fine)
- Place steaks in ziploc bag & pour marinade in
- Let steaks marinate 1/2 hour.
- Place steaks on grill or in oven ( reserve marinade).
- Cook steaks until desired doneness.
Cabernet Mushroom Sauce
- 2 C Cabernet Sauvignon
- Marinade from steaks
- 2 C mixed fresh mushrooms (cremini, shiitake, etc)
- Pour wine & marinade from steaks into saucepan.
- Over high heat bring liquid to boil. Add mushrooms then reduce heat to simmer.
- Spoon this yummy sauce over the top of your steaks when they’ve finished cooking
